Tax season is approaching, and Green Building Elements offers a simple overview of the Energy Efficiency Tax Credit, which you can pass on to clients or use for your own taxes.
One thing to be aware of is that the credit amount is fixed at no more than $500 in total, and not more than $200 of that can be for energy efficient windows. Additionally, the products must be Energy Star rated to qualify.
