American Standard / Cleaner Toilet
With VorMax flushing technology, American Standard has reinvented the flush toilet, the company says. Rather than using the traditional small holes around the bowl’s rim to carry water during a flush, VorMax delivers one powerful jet to scrub the entire bowl clean using just 1.28 gallons of water per flush. The CleanCurve Rim omits the rim overhang and holes inside the bowl where dirt can accumulate, and EverClean antimicrobial finish adds to the clean experience. Ventless Dryer
The high-efficiency electric ventless 7.3-cubic-foot Whirlpool HybridCare Heat Pump Dryer uses a refrigeration system to dry and recycle the warm, moist air produced during the drying cycle. The technology reduces energy consumption, using up to 73 percent less energy with its Eco Dry setting while drying loads within normal dry times, Whirlpool says. Because the Energy Star–certified dryer doesn’t require a wall vent, there are more installation options.
