Originally built in the ‘90s for a special Street of Dreams housing showcase, The New American Remodel 2023 in Winter Park, Fla. came to Phil Kean Design Group as a disjointed, cramped, dark, and outdated home. Its original construction lacked efficient systems and products, creating a home without ideal performance.
Working closely together, both the designer and energy consultant, Two Trails, were able to create a home performing nearly 50% better than an average code-built house through a systems-engineering approach. The design is now fit for its homeowners, a young family who dreamt of their own luxury lake house.
In this webinar, learn how the two teams did it, their creative solutions to challenges, and takeaways in both design and efficiency.
