  Biggest challenges:   Getting things done takes a little longer in New York City. In a suburb or another city, you can work on a site to or past 5pm. Here, you can only work from 9am to 4pm. We also have to work with tradespeople, superintendents, doormen, porters—there are a lot of hands in the jar for every project. So we often meet internally to discuss ways to keep costs down and deliver the product to the client at a palatable price point. We have to be flexible and nimble.
