Based on popular demand, Trex Pergola kits will now be offered in a variety of rich, luxurious colors to complement any outdoor living space.

“Pergolas continue to increase in popularity as design options for decks, patios and gardens, and consumers and professionals alike will now be provided with a broad range of colors, styles and sizes to create completely customized outdoor living spaces,” said Ronald W. Kaplan, chairman, president and CEO of Trex. “Trex Pergola kits offer the same combination of superior durability and aesthetics as our core product line and are yet another opportunity to enhance one’s backyard.”

Trex Pergola kits are manufactured by Fredericksburg, Va.-based Backyard America through a trademark licensing agreement with Trex Company, and are available in nine rich finishes that coordinate seamlessly with high-performance Trex decking and railing – including White, Charcoal Black, Gravel Path (a pristine grey), Tree House (a warm earth tone), Fire Pit (a spicy red), Vintage Lantern (a deep burnished bronze), Rope Swing (a light taupe), Beach Dune (a warm honey brown) and Clam Shell (a deep charcoal).

For even more design options, homeowners may select a combination of finishes or choose custom paint tinting to match any desired color. Backyard America offers a ColorLast finishing process that ensures superior performance under extreme temperatures and is highly resistant to scratching and chipping. For additional peace-of-mind, the ColorLast finish is protected by a 20-year warranty that covers cracking, peeling and blistering.

Trex Pergola kits also feature an expanded selection of fiberglass columns to complement a wide variety of architectural styles. Columns are available in round tapered, square and square with decorative base designs in two different heights. Each Trex Pergola may be installed freestanding or attached to a structure, and each may be finished with a retractable or fixed canopy for customized levels of shade and privacy.

Trex Pergolas are constructed of an aluminum core wrapped in genuine TrexTrim for superior strength and long-lasting durability.
