Building materials dealers and manufacturers now have easier access to Versatex PVC architectural trim, thanks to a new distribution agreement between Versatex and Snavely Forest Products of Greensboro, N.C.
The Snavely location will provide the complete Versatex line, including trimboards, sheet, bead board, and moldings, and proprietary specialty items such as the innovative Versatex soffit system.
Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Snavely has been a leader in wholesale distribution since 1902. The Greensboro location will serve all of North Carolina, most of South Carolina and southeastern Virginia.
“Our customers are among the world’s finest professional and DIY retailers — independent dealers, home centers, door and window shops and molding and millwork manufacturers," says Brian Kirit, Snavely’s general manager. "With them in mind, we’re happy to be making Versatex products and expertise more widely available. Our customers — and their customers, too — depend on the value we add through product training and technical support. Like Snavely, Versatex is a recognized industry leader in sharing knowledge and responding to customer needs. Together, we’re positioned to make life easier for architects, builders and renovators too.”
“Both Snavely and Versatex share a deep concern for products with environmental benefits," says Rick Kapres, Versatex vice president of sales. "Our PVC components require comparatively little energy to manufacture, and their long service life means that, once they’re installed, they won’t be going anywhere near a landfill. This looks like a long-term relationship, based on shared values, with lasting benefits for the industry overall."
