Based on the Nebraska Court of Appeals’ decision in Adams v. Manchester Park, LLC and Southfork Homes, Inc., Nebraska homeowners now have five years to file a claim – the one year homebuilder warranty plus the four year statute of limitations. The ruling applies only to Nebraska, but it’s reason to review your state’s warranty laws.
