Dutch electronics giant Phillips has partnered with Home Depot to launch what Inhabitat calls the most affordable LED blub yet.
The bulb will sell for the price of $4.97, available for sale exclusively on Home Depot’s website. The LED uses only 8.5 watts of power and is estimated to cost just $1.02 per year to run over its 10-year lifespan.
