If your company is doing exactly what it was doing five years ago, in exactly the same way, you are probably setting yourself up for failure.

Changes in customer needs, competitors, and the economy compel most businesses to change, as is demonstrated in these examples drawn from a variety of franchise businesses. The lesson for remodeling companies is to listen and observe your market, and don't be afraid to offer new services or deliver the old ones in a new way.
