For Texas-based contractor Matt Risinger, Marvin’s “Next Generation Ultimate Double Hung” is his window of choice.
He used the product to remodel a home. “The house is a pretty traditional 1950’s house that had it’s original wood single pane windows,” Risinger writes. “We wanted to use a product that would look similar on the outside, but bring us up to modern standards of efficiency and air tightness.”
The things that stood out most to Risinger include the lock and latch mechanism, the windows fit and finish, and the energy efficiency performance.
