DON’T MISS: Silica Standards FAQ

In response to lingering confusion surrounding the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s respirable crystalline silica standard for construction, the U.S. Dept. of Labor has released a set of 53 frequently asked questions, covering the standard’s scope, definitions, exposure control methods, housekeeping on construction sites, requirements for a written exposure control plan, medical surveillance, employee information and training, and recordkeeping.
