This nearly 6,500-square-foot home was reimagined into a more contemporary, neo-modern style to complement the owner’s eclectic art collection. Emphasis was placed on an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area.
The space features a number of custom concrete pieces that highlight the clean, spare lines and geometric angles of the design. Repeated use of walnut adds warm hues that complement the overall aesthetic.
The high-gloss island makes use of a built-up mitered edge to create the look of a countertop twice as thick as those along the kitchen walls.
