Built into the side of a steep slope, this 2,355-square-foot private recording studio is supported by nine piles built into poured-in-place concrete. Along with the recording space, it features a subterranean audio editing suite and separate client and office spaces. The use of warm tones in the flooring and walls balances out the glass railings and sliding doors, providing a comforting environment for long working hours.

To maintain privacy in the home and total sound proofing at the studio, the team added retaining walls and specialty acoustic fabric wall and ceiling panels.
