The annual, international tile show Coverings today announced it was cancelling its April 20-23 event in New Orleans as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. The decision was made in an effort to minimize the spread of the virus.
“The health and safety of our exhibitors and attendees are very important show priorities to Coverings,” says Jennifer Hoff, president of Taffy Event Strategies, the management company for Coverings. “Given the public health emergency we are currently facing, we believe the only action at this time is for Coverings 2020 to be canceled.”
Coverings is working to provide online education to any interested, to be made available the week of April 20.
