In order to adhere to the City’s standards for renovating historic homes, the remodeler needed to replace the brick columns with historically accurate wood columns; replace the short windows with full height windows; install pediments over the doors and windows; and replace the doors with  something more in line with the period during which the house was built, approximately 1910.
