I’ve been dealing with Danver for more than 10 years, and their stainless steel cabinets have become more and more popular. I have a whole division of my remodeling company that does outdoor kitchens. For years, clients would ask me for door cabinets that wouldn’t rot, and until I found Danver’s stainless steel cabinets, I really didn’t have a good long-term solution for them.
Since discovering Danver, we’ve specified their cabinets on all but one of the outdoor kitchens. Before, we used either some sort of polymer or plastic-based cabinets, which cannot handle heat very well and came with hardware that was prone to rotting. Now with stainless steel cabinets, you don’t have to worry about the heat of the appliance, grills, and griddles. The hardware, including the drawer slides and hinges, are all stainless steel as well.
Installation is similar to an indoor cabinet job. Most of the cabinets can be installed in one day with two people if the site has been prepped properly. You can get the cabinets finished in a variety of colors, but the one that I have used most is a versatile, charcoal-gray color that goes with so many different appliances, finishes and countertops.
The only limitation with Danver cabinets that I have found is that there are a few appliances, like built-in pizza ovens or barrel-bodied units, that don’t fit well with their cabinets. But when unusual projects come up, Danver has helped me come up with workaround solutions.
