Professional accomplishment: I joined the company in 2020 and we were not profitable at that time. We were doing everything with job binders, paper, and pen, and it wasn’t working. I searched different software solutions and chose Buildertrend. Initially, most of the team was hesitant, as they believed our old way was working fine. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is making our company profitable again and ensuring that we know the profitability of our jobs while we build, not just months later. It was a team effort, and we had a huge mountain to climb. I created processes to help us along the way, but our team had to execute on those. It’s been a long road, but we are now reaping the rewards. Another technology solution we use is Calendly. It’s a popular product, so easy, and helps our sales process.
Personal accomplishment: I’m proud of growing a beard, having never had one before joining Bearded Builders. Most people are surprised by its red color, but it runs in my family.
