Mary Peters, 39

CEO, Sasquatch Contracting, Southwest Idaho

2025 projected revenue: $12 mil

Peters started Sasquatch Contracting in 2016 (her then 11-year-old daughter suggested the name) and today has a thriving business with 17 team members. Her goal is to “create a company culture where employees genuinely enjoy coming to work.”

Biggest Challenge: Sasquatch has seen rapid growth, and while this generated a wealth of innovative ideas, the fast pace also led to many of those ideas falling through the cracks. To address this challenge, Peters implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). The framework has helped the whole team stay focused. “I love EOS,” she says. “Every single person, and every single team uses it.” By establishing clear goals, defining roles, and creating accountability measures, each employee knows their responsibilities and can contribute effectively. “We set [individual] KPIs at the beginning of the year...so everybody has measurables that put us on track,” Peters says. Weekly meetings to review progress ensures that nothing is overlooked.

Best Innovation: Peters had tried (twice) to create a handyman division, and decided she would “stop fiddling around, and do this correctly.” Today, Yeti Services runs as a separate business that also offers home maintenance subscriptions. Launched this January, the response so far has been, “fantastic,” Peters says.
