Ferris discovered her knack for design in middle school when she decided to redesign her bedroom to look like a genie bottle. Fortunately, her parents didn’t discourage her. Fast forward to the present, and Ferris is a NARI Remodeler of the Year award winner recognized for delivering the “wow factor” clients desire.

Trust Before Sales: Ferris was also recently named Salesperson of the Year at J.S. Brown, yet while she enjoys accolades, the most important thing to her is building trust with her clients. “I want to create close and personal relationships with them,” she says. “We can be with clients for a long time on a large project, and I’ve found my niche on the social side of it. Clients invest a great amount of time and money because they trust our expertise. We hold that to the utmost regard, and they deserve the best we have to offer.”

Ferris also prioritizes close relationships with trade partners and other team members to stay on top of the latest trends, design innovations, materials, applications, and anything else that may bring value to her clients.

For Fun: Ferris enjoys watching her two children accomplish their goals, work hard and build confidence—her daughter in dance and her son in music.
