Lewis is a strategic thinker, focused on process and how to get from A to B and then reverse-engineering the path so everything aligns. This mindset made her the perfect person to build a marketing department from scratch. When she was hired in 2023 to do just that she immediately retooled the company’s marketing efforts and lead-gen strategy, nearly doubling the number of in-coming leads. “It’s cool being able to use the creative side of marketing you don’t always get to use in home improvement because so many strategies are cut and repeat,” she says. This isn’t her first go-around at turning things around. She’s created or revitalized departments in previous roles.

Big Challenge: The paradox of both wanting and not wanting a bad storm season. A lot of the company’s home improvement projects involve repairing damage from storms, so an active season (typically April-June) is good for business but, of course, bad for everyone living there. This puts Lewis in a position of having to reconfigure lead-gen strategies based on bad weather.

Inspiration: Lewis created a Giveback Committee. Efforts include donating a percentage of monthly sales, food drives, and a partnership with Ronald McDonald House.

Outside Of Work: Camping with her boyfriend and her dog.
