Product Introductions: Stone Over Steel

Though they don’t look it, Gerard Roofing’s Barrel Vault tiles are made from stone coated steel. They offer the look of high profile ‘S’ tiles without the weight of cement or clay. The tiles are also waterproof, so they keep the roof deck dry insteading of relying on a vapor barrier to protect it. The company says that they won’t crack or split, and don’t need to be treated for mold or fungus.
