My advice for young professionals is to grow your skillset by signing up for new projects and taking chances. We debated hiring a pricey outside firm to do our new website. After a lot of research, I knew I could design something more customized to our audience.
Best innovation: When I first joined, I knew our customers were loyal, but we didn’t do much about that or ask for referrals or reviews. I thought a little something to push reviews or referrals would help, so I started a thank you card program for completed projects, but also thank you cards for those waiting on projects.
