 Badger Maps App

During peak busy season, we have more than 30 jobs in progress. Each of our field supervisors or project managers could be visiting anywhere from six to 12 customer jobs every day. They use the Badger Maps app to create the most efficient drive route from site to site.

Every morning we enter the addresses of the customer’s homes we plan to visit that day and the app outputs the quickest route possible. The field supervisors or project managers can then let our installation crews know when they expect to arrive on-site.

Our director of operations can log in and see the entire plan for the day, allowing him to know exactly where all of his team members should be and when. He can review maps with employees in our weekly team meetings, if necessary.

When our installers need us to make a stop at a lumber yard or a Home Depot to pick up tools for a job, we can enter those addresses and it will recalculate the best route for us. This maximizes our employee efficiency and helps to cut down on our fuel expenses as a company. Small things like this add up to big savings when you do it every day.

The monthly cost for Badger Maps is less than $60 per user. We recoup that nominal fee within the first week of every month and then start saving time and money by being better organized and not running all over the place.
