1. Bostik

Bostik introduced Bosti-Flex Plus, a multipurpose, siliconized acrylic latex sealant. Available in six colors, it also can be easily painted with latex or oil-based coatings. Developed for exterior and interior applications, it can be used on windows, door frames, sinks, shower surrounds, tubs, countertops, and more. The product resists mold and mildew; offers excellent elasticity for flexible joints; emits no VOCs; and is easy to apply and clean, according to the company.

2. Cali Bamboo

Cali Bamboo launched several new bamboo floors, including two—Riverwood (shown) and Outer Banks—made for herringbone-style installations. The other new floors are Savanna, Bordeaux, Bourbon Barrel, and Treehouse. All feature solid Fossilized bamboo construction, Cali’s proprietary manufacturing technique, which the firm says yields the world’s hardest floors. Herringbone wood flooring is ideal for formal living rooms and dining rooms. The flooring is backed by warranties: 50-year residential and 15-year commercial. 

3. Tytan

The Tytan Professional Subfloor High Yield Adhesive is designed to make squeaky floors silent. Gaps or imperfections in floor joists cause fasteners to loosen and squeak as they rub up and down; this polyurethane product fills the gaps. It can be used when installing OSB, plywood, treated lumber, composite decking, etc. It’s HUD tested for shear wall, non-shear wall, and floor applications and exceeds ASTM D3498 requirements. Can be used with various gun applicator lengths. 

4. Mannington

Mannington keyed into a trend that’s back in style: floors with highly decorative patterns. The new Revive resilient LVS collection features seven updated vintage looks that make the floor a focal point. For instance, Deco (shown) is a reproduction of a 12-inch encaustic tile look, featuring a large-format floral pattern. For a small-scale Art Deco basket weave pattern, the collection includes Lattice, while Hive offers a modern take on the classic honeycomb pattern.

5. Titebond

The TiteGrab Advanced Polymer Construction Adhesive was made to accelerate installation time of vertical applications. It rapidly grips and holds even heavy items, often eliminating the need for bracing, according to Titebond, a Franklin Intl. division. It bonds with most building materials, including wood, glass, brick, stone, concrete, and metal. TiteGrab is perfect for bonding large panels, drywall, vertical shelving, decorative moldings, etc. It can be applied in temperatures from zero to 120°F.  

6. Walker Zanger

The Bera & Beren collection of porcelain floor and ceramic wall tiles from Walker Zanger recreates the look and feel of carved Portuguese and Spanish limestone, but with the durability and affordability of porcelain and ceramic. The floor tiles are 18-by-36 inches or 12-by-24 inches, and offered in natural and bush-hammered finishes. This collection’s tiles come in complementary neutral colors, including Biscuit, Greige, Light Grey, Dark Grey, White, and Coal. 

7. Regency Fireplace Products

Regency Fireplace Products debuted its City Series with cutting-edge contemporary design and quality. The series’ Chicago corner two-sided gas fireplace (shown) provides clear views of the fire from either side of the room. Patent-pending features include the Cool Wall System, making it possible to place a TV directly above the fire, and the seamless, double-layered glass safety barrier. 8. Shaw Floors

For 2018, Shaw Floors introduced LVT innovations in its Floorté family of styles, also known for their beauty and durability. The Floorté PRO collection includes Mountain Pine flooring (shown), described as embracing country farmhouse style with distressed pine barn board visuals for a rustic, reclaimed aesthetic. New styles also are appearing in the Floorté PRO 7 Series, Floorté PRO 3 Series, Pantheon HD Plus collection, and Titan HD Plus collection. 

9. Nemo Tile + Stone

Nemo Tile + Stone announced three new collections: Mio (shown) is a hexagonal tile collection sporting a geometric shape and multicolored porcelain composition. A play on traditional parquet flooring, Mio features asymmetrical striation for an angular, elegant look. Gramercy is a hexagonal porcelain collection that comes in solids, reliefs, tredi, and graphic patterns. Aster is a collection of Moroccan-inspired porcelain tiles that come in three colorways—Classic, Black & White, and Colors—available in various patterns.
