As a green builder, Model ReModel 2022's contractor Symbi Homes looks for sustainable products that minimize harm to the environment and maximize the performance of their projects.
This is why CEO Nicole Tysvaer selected a blow-in cellulose insulation, an Energy Star-rated product created from recycled plant fibers and paper. This specific cellulose product from Greenfiber is non-toxic and treated to resist pests, mold, and mildew. While the process may appear messy, the company vacuums up excess insulation to be used at other projects. Greenfiber's product is also carbon negative, meaning it absorbs carbon from the environment.
