1. Emerson
Emerson’s new thermostat provides remote control of floor-warming systems from mobile devices. The Warm Tiles ColorTouch Wi-Fi-enabled thermostats come in two models: the ESW ColorTouch wireless thermostat and the standard ES ColorTouch thermostat. Both monitor and regulate Warm Tiles DFT, DMC, SAM and WTE floor warming systems, as well as 120/240V systems from other leading manufacturers. The thermostats work with flooring material including ceramic and porcelain tiles, marble, granite, stone, laminate or LVT tiles.
2. AHF Products
AHF Products introduces its waterproof, 100% hardwood flooring product from Bruce. Hydropel is engineered hardwood that’s infused with proprietary technology to resist water for up to 36 hours. It can be installed in bathrooms, kitchens, mudrooms, entryways and more. Easy to install, it comes in an array of design options and is available in oak and hickory, in smooth, scraped and brushed textures. Its low-gloss finish is available in 5” planks up to 48” long.
3. Cali Brands
Cali Brands’ “Longboards” Luxury Vinyl Collection features a longer, broader and a more authentic hardwood look than ever. The coastal-inspired flooring sports extra-large dimensions with planks measuring 70-7/8” long by 9” wide. Longboards are 100% waterproof and can be installed in kitchens, bathrooms and below grade. The extra-durable construction makes for easy cleaning and includes a 20-mil-thick scratch-resistant wear layer for high-traffic.
4. Huber
New in 2021, Huber’s AdvanTech X-Factor is a premium subflooring that features a built-in, water-shedding barrier that delivers jobsite durability against harsh weather. It also provides a smooth, easy-to-clean surface that the company says works for written jobsite communications. Designed to replace plywood and standard OSB subflooring, the 4’ by 8’ boards resist discoloration, flaking or delamination and come with an enhanced tongue and groove profile for proper spacing and easy installation under carpet, ceramic, and hardwood.
5. Nesite
With the Diffuse radiant flooring system by Nesite, homeowners can enjoy a toasty floor shoe-free while potentially reducing electricity bills. The system’s true pièce de résistance, however, is that it is the first raised, radiant floor that pros can install without cement screed, leaving it accessible for future maintenance. 6. MagikFlame
Produced in Nashville, Tenn, MagikFlame electric fireplace inserts offer 30 different videos of preset fires that homeowners can choose for different effects ranging from dying embers to a roaring fire. Homeowners can control the settings on the insert’s touchscreen or via smartphone. The electric fireplace can also serve as supplemental heat for a room up to 1,000 sq ft. The black metal insert measures 28-by-30-by-12 inches and retails for $2,995. Each MagikFlame product comes with lifetime access to system updates so homeowners can receive up-to-date technology and new presets.
7. Mannington
Mannington has added to its Restoration Collection of laminate flooring, including the Anthology pattern. Anthology combines the look of White Oak, Hickory and Maple to create a rich, dramatic aesthetic. The company’s first laminate flooring pattern to feature 20 unique plank visuals, Anthology also showcases the firm’s updated SpillShield Plus Waterproof technology, which is perfect for homes with children and pets. Anthology comes in five colors: Parchment (shown), Ink, Tannin, Suede and Quill.
8. Sherwin-Williams
Sherwin-Williams has released two new products: SuperPaint with Sanitizing Technology and SuperPaint with Air Purifying Technology. The air-purifying option can eliminate odors, while the sanitizing paint is EPA-registered to kill specific bacteria such as E. coli and MRSA on its painted surfaces. These new products align with the company’s focus on health and wellness, including the new Living Well collection featuring eleven new color palettes.
9. Touchstone Home Products
Available in five widths, the Touchstone Sideline Elite Smart Electric Fireplace adds style to any room as Touchstone Home Products’ most popular electric fireplace. No chimney, gas line or venting is needed as remodelers can simply plug in or hardwire. The fireplace features 60 beautiful flame color combos, and the heater can be adjusted by remote control, mobile app, Amazon Alexa or Google Home. All the Touchstone fireplaces are 110/120V, with a max draw of 12 amps.
10. Viewrail
Viewrail’s Vedera glass railing integrates low-iron glass directly with the stair treads using hidden fasteners. Rather than terminate the glass railing above the top of the treads, Vedera continues below the bottom edge of the tread for increased safety and security. Remodelers can add a round or square stainless steel or wood cap rail to match the treads, which come in an array of 15 wood species and any color stain.
