Kohler Plunges into the Ice Bath Trend with Luxury Cold Tub

Kohler recently announced a partnership with Jonathan Leary, a chiropractic and alternative medicine doctor, and founder and CEO of Remedy Place, which is described as “the world’s first social wellness club” with locations in New York City and Los Angeles. This partnership ushers in Kohler’s self-care era, which the manufacturer says builds upon its mission to help people live “gracious, healthy, and sustainable lives.”

The partnership kicks off with the Kohler x Remedy Place Ice Bath, a contemporary-designed tub with a sleek exterior and dark materials. The product seeks to elevate and reimagine the cold plunge, says Kohler. The exterior is made of high-pressure laminate, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Ice baths have jumped in popularity in the last two years on social media and with celebrities and athletes touting health benefits like improved circulation and reduced inflammation.

The $15,000 ice bath features precision temperature control, ergo-dynamic body positioning, a UV-powered filtration system, and an integrated light and timer that guide breathwork. It also offers optional plumbing integration for quick filling and draining.

A dimmable, ambient light surrounding the bath adds another layer of luxury, and additional education on ice baths and guided breathwork sessions are available on the Kohler Konnect App.

The manufacturer is accepting pre-orders with shipment in spring of 2025.
