In this digital age, what do Americans generally feel about receiving marketing material by mail?
According to a recent Gallup poll, catalogs are more likely to be received positively by Americans, as 46 percent of the random sample of 1,010 adults surveyed indicated.
Americans responded neutrally towards letters from a business – 30 percent gave a positive reaction, 34 percent neutral, and 34 percent negative. When it comes to advertising cards or fliers, Americans are twice as likely to react negatively (51 percent) than positively (22 percent).
