The numbers come from NAHB’s 2017 annual member census, showing a break down of its associate members (2⁄3 of total membership). The association’s membership has remained relatively constant across the five occupational categories. The exception is subcontractors. Their membership share has increased 6 percentage points since 2008. Other notable findings from the census include the members’ median annual company revenue ($2.6 million) and median age (56).
