The Portable Jobsite Spray Booth (PJSB), an in-shop painting, refinishing, and workpiece processing solution, allows pros to finish projects onsite.
“The Portable Jobsite Spray Booth provides an affordable, professional spray booth solution for small shops and jobsite contractors,” says Kyle Robinson, president of PaintLine. “Most people end up spending too much time and money on temporary, plastic barriers when they want overspray protection or to contain other particulates.”
Robinson says pros can use the PJSB for on-site spraying, finishing and processing work like sanding, routing, or tile cutting. Designed for use with nonflammable, noncombustible finishes, the walk-in, open-faced booth is suitable for interior projects. Taking it outside is not recommended unless the wind is extremely predictable.
One-man assembly in 15 minutes
The booth features a collapsible aluminum extrusion frame and support poles. One person can assemble the PJSB in about 15 minutes with no tools, according to the manufacturer. When assembled, the cube measures 80” L x 80” W x 90” H. Disposable, 5-sided clear plastic liners protect the ceiling, floor, and three sides while letting light into the workspace. Though pros should still use a respirator, the PJSB can be paired with a filtered exhaust fan to redirect the airflow.
When the project is finished, the user can dispose of the liner and replace it with a new one the next job. The booth comes with a storage bag and weighs roughly 45 pounds for easy transportation.
The Portable Jobsite Spray Booth retails for $650 and includes the carry bag and three liners. Pros can also buy a Blower Bundle that includes extra liners, an exhaust vent attachment, ducting, a heavy duty blower, and filters for under $2,000
