A New Beginning: The NAHB and Pro Remodeler Partnership
I am truly excited that the National Association of Home Builders has selected SGC Horizon, publisher of Professional Remodeler, Professional Builder and other top housing industry publications, to be its official media partner.
We will be working closely with SGC Horizon to take advantage of the tremendous resources of the two organizations, providing an extended reach for analysis and discussion of policy issues, building technology, business best practices and design trends.
Professional Remodeler is the leading publication for the nation’s remodeling community. Likewise, NAHB Remodelers is America’s home for professional remodelers, representing the nearly 50,000 members of NAHB who are involved in the remodeling industry.
NAHB has a lot to offer Professional Remodeler and its readers, including experienced economists, tax specialists, attorneys, and financial, regulatory and technical experts who specialize in understanding and addressing the effect of government rules and regulations on the housing industry.
We will be working closely with SGC Horizon to take advantage of the tremendous resources of the two organization.
Similarly, we recognize that Professional Remodeler and SGC Horizon’s other publications will deliver real value to our members. SGC Horizon’s print, digital, video, email, social media and events deliver great content on industry issues and trends, business best practices, design, construction how-to, innovation and technology sales and marketing, and the latest building products. It’s the kind of information that our members can use with real value to build better and strengthen their businesses.
We’ve been working with Professional Remodeler and SGC Horizon for years. For example, Professional Remodeler has been the media partner on The New American Remodel since the production of the first one in 2017. The New American Remodel, one of the nation’s premier show homes, is done each year in conjunction with NAHB’s International Builders’ Show.
The new partnership is designed to benefit not just NAHB’s members involved in the remodeling industry, but all of the association’s 140,000 members, as well as the 120,000 readers of SGC Horizon’s residential construction publications.
One of NAHB’s highest priorities is to provide a business-friendly policy environment that enables our members to build a better product and a better business. The partnership with Professional Remodeler and SGC Horizon gives us access to an incredible network of remodelers and other residential construction professionals facing common challenges. This will enable NAHB and its members – and SGC Horizon’s readers – to better share insights about building technologies, trends and business solutions.
We are also excited about expanding NAHB’s educational resources – already one of the most sought-after benefits of membership – by creating new education and training products and services under the partnership. NAHB seeks to boost its members’ professional success through advocacy, education, networking and other services. In the same way, SGC Horizon looks to use its full range of excellent communication vehicles to deliver content that helps its readers achieve success.
This is a win-win for two strong organizations, and I have high expectations for this partnership.
