The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) has announced the new officers of its Executive Committee of our Board of Directors for 2021-2022.
“The NARI Executive Committee is vital to ensuring that we continue to meet our members’ needs, especially in the current economic climate,” says David Pekel, CEO of NARI. "We are grateful for the commitment of our all-volunteer officers whose experience and professionalism represent the finest in the remodeling industry.”
Meet the NARI Board of Directors for 2021-2022
New NARI officers include:
Chairman Doug King, CR, MBA, King Contracting, Inc., Saint Petersburg, Fla., who previously served as the president; President Dennis D. Gehman, MCR, CKBR, CRPM, CLC, Gehman Design Remodeling, Harleysville, Pa., who was previously president-elect; President-elect Chris Egner, MCR, CKBR, CRPM, UDCP, CCP, Chris Egner Design Build Remodel/Four Seasons Sunrooms, New Berlin, Wisc., who was formerly the treasurer; Treasurer Andy Apter of Apter Remodeling, Craftsman, Annapolis, M.D., previously secretary; and newcomer Secretary Jason Hensler, Marvin Windows & Doors, Watertown, Wisc., who served as the chairman of NARI of Madison.
Robi Kirsic, MCKBR, UDCP, TimeLine Renovation & Design, Merrick, N.Y. will step down as chairman.
Pekel asserts that this new board will help elevate the remodeling industry “through enhanced educational offerings, marketing innovation, member services and outreach, and new consumer-facing initiatives.”
What officers have in common is a longstanding commitment to NARI and industry expertise. Pekel points to these qualities as key to building a successful year for the association.
