The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) has extended its free member registration deadline for the annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2022, the association announced today.
The ninth annual KBIS will take place in Orlando, Fla. from Feb. 8 through 10 with an expected 450 exhibitors across 380,500 net square feet of exhibition space. As usual, KBIS will jointly run with the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders’ Show, expecting to collectively gather more than 1,000 design and construction brands under one roof.
“We are very much looking forward to getting the industry back together at the start of the new year,” Suzie Williford, NKBA EVP & CSO, said in an official statement. “KBIS is not only a place for old friends and colleagues to have the chance to catch up but also a chance for new faces to become part of this talented and inclusive community.”
This will be the first in-person KBIS since 2019, and features the theme “Where the Future is Defined.” To ensure a safe environment, the NKBA released a health and safety plan outlining attendance protocols for the show floor.
Protocols include face masks for all attendees while indoors, vaccinated or not. The Orange County Convention Center will supply hand sanitizer and washing stations throughout, and notes all protocols will align with current CDC and local health authorities. The convention center also received a Global Biorisk Advisory Council Star accreditation, according to the NKBA, denoting its outbreak prevention, response, and recovery.
Free member registration and $50 non-member registration for the expo alone runs through October 15, with a $50 member/$100 non-member early bird rate running from October 16 through December 10. Advance rates begin December 11 and end February 7, increasing to $100 for members and $175 for non-members. Registration will be available on-site at $150 per member and $225 per non-member.
“We’ve had such a great turnout in Orlando in past years and are excited to host this much-anticipated event in person again,” said Jason McGraw, Group Vice President, KBIS and CEDIA Expo, Emerald, in an official statement. “KBIS 2022 is slated to be one of the most impactful events of the industry, filled with the latest innovative products and programming. We strongly recommend attendees register early to take advantage of discounted registration and hotel rates.”
