March 29, 2022

NAHB Remodelers welcomed George Moore, known as Geep, into the National Remodeling Hall of Fame this year for his contributions to the industry throughout his 50-year career.

The National Remodeling Hall of Fame inducts new honorees each year who have made a lasting impact on the industry based on innovations, education, government and regulatory affairs, association achievements, and more.

Owner of Elm Grove, Louisiana-based Moore-Built Construction & Restoration, Moore served as president, board member, life director, and chair at his local associations, the Home Builders Association of Northwest Louisiana and Louisiana Home Builders Association. There, he also won the honors of Remodeler of the Year, Builder of the Year, Member of the Year, the President’s Choice Award, and more.

He began his involvement in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in 1987 and NAHB Remodelers in 2003. Within NAHB, Moore served as chair for the Leading Suppliers Council, Environmental Issues Committee, and NAHB Remodelers. He also served as moderator of State Representatives.

“He leads by example and inspires others to serve in leadership roles in the remodeling industry,” said 2021 NAHB Remodelers Chair Steven Cunningham.
