Markets Served by Case Remodelers & Architects: DMV Metro
Last year’s uncertainty related to inflation, interest rates, and home values resulted in clients deferring projects for six to 18 months. While it creates uncertainty on the sales side, it’s an opportunity to focus inward.
Growth: We expect flat growth, maintaining a sales revenue of $35 million. However, we predict growth with client and team experience, and gross profitability.
Focus: We’re focusing on the process, from estimating to design and becoming as detailed as possible. We’re also focusing on every client touchpoint. We rolled up our sleeves, mapped out each one, and strived to improve each by 1 or 2%. For example, celebrating the end of a project or more personalized automated emails throughout the process.
Challenges: Our market is unique and talks from the new administration about cutting the federal government have made clients express concern or stop the process because they’re nervous about their jobs.
Advice: We expect a lower average job size in 2025, which ripples through a business. It requires more jobs sold, and the process, markups, and margins will change. Keep an eye on job size, and plan how you’ll evolve in response. Remain flexible and never forget about maintaining cash flow.
