This past year has been good for business overall, even with rising costs and the election. Consumers were waiting before committing to a large renovation, but I think that will end.
Growth: We predict 20% growth next year, but part of it is the expectation for the economy and our investment in additional marketing and advertising. We plan to hire additional marketing staff, bringing our in-house marketing team to four. There’s always remodeling out there, it’s about how much market share and awareness your company has.
Marketing: We’ll continue to spend on television advertising and billboards. We created an award-winning commercial a year ago and will continue it. Billboards are new for us, and help capitalize on our growing market share and the reputation we’ve built since rebranding to Cocoon four years ago.
Customer Experience: We believe the winning factor in home remodeling is convenience for consumers—that’s always the end goal. The most convenient wins. Our emphasis and investment in 2025 is our selections center, which will be the largest remodeling selections center in America at 20,000 square feet.
Advice: Always focus on creating value. Value to us means convenience, process, and customer service. Think through what differentiates your business from the one next door—that’s your value, and continue to invest in, train on it, and excel at it.
Vibe: Investment
