Sto Corp. StoGuard for Residential Construction

This fully adhered, vapor-permeable air and moisture barrier can be used under various exterior claddings including fiber cement, vinyl, brick, and stucco. Unlike housewrap, StoGuard is rolled or sprayed on, bonding it to the sheathing. Sto claims that this makes for a more energy-efficient, durable wall assembly, and because it’s fully adhered, leaks from tears, staples, seams, or other penetrations are eliminated.
