CEG Lite Epoxy Grout

For all customers who put grout on their floors and shower pans, I highly recommend Custom Building Products’ epoxy grout. It’s a “set it and forget it” type of product.

This grout stands out for its stain and efflorescence resistance as well as exceptional durability—almost like diamonds compared to traditional concrete-based grouts.

We’ve had great success with epoxy grout and have used it for about six years. You don’t need to return for small grout repairs or re-grout because of stains. With this product, it’s little to no maintenance.

One plus is the consistent color chart across all grout types. You can get the same color in epoxy grout as you can in regular. Although it’s more expensive, its benefits outweigh the cost. Epoxy grout is more flexible and less likely to crack compared to traditional products.

When epoxy grout first came out, a lot of contractors were scared to install it. It does take a professional, and we get general contractors reaching out to us specifically because we’re experts with epoxy grout and others still don’t want to mess with it.

It can be difficult to clean off and you shouldn’t use it with porous tiles, like slate, or tiles with grooves.
