Construction Dive reported that Baby Boomers don’t want to downgrade their homes and move to smaller places. Instead one-third of them are in search of larger homes.
A poll of more than 3,600 Baby Boomers found that the motivation for purchasing larger homes is to age in their own home rather than move into a nursing home. Those who don’t want to move have plans to complete renovations and make their homes safer and easier to get around in.
