Heavy duty 31/4-in. planer model DW680K accepts both large resharpenable high-speed blades and small carbide blades. With 5.2 amps, the unit’s powerful motor produces 15,000 rpms under load. The tool’s increased depth of cut (3/32-in. maximum depth of cut in one pass) reduces the number of passes necessary. For accuracy, the tool has a precision-machined shoe on both the bottom and side. The shoe is machined after it is placed on each unit, ensuring an accurate cut.
