Energy Response Corps organization (ERC) announced that Indow Windows, a Portland, Oregon-based company specializing in sustainable window solutions, has joined the Energy Response Corps coalition. Indow Windows will work with others in the coalition to provide comprehensive home improvement solutions across North America.
The addition of Indow Windows dealers helps expand the national network of ERC members that fight heat bleed. The unique sustainable nature of the Indow Windows offering makes it a natural partner for solving energy efficiency problems in homes today.
“Indow Windows offers a solution for homes where a traditional window replacement is not necessary,” said Bill Parlapiano, director of business development and home performance expert for Energy Response Corps. “This product is installed on the inside, so it gives all the benefit of a double-pane window without disturbing the existing window opening or aesthetics. For owners of older homes who want to maintain the look of the historic windows, this is a great solution. In addition to maintaining the aesthetics, the cost is 15–20 percent less than that of replacing traditional windows.”
Indow Windows acrylic inserts simply press inside window frames, allowing homeowners to preserve their windows while creating comfort and energy efficiency.
“With the strength of this coalition, ERC will help homeowners find comfort, save money and help make the built environment more energy efficient, which is good for everyone,” said Russ Eisenberg, director of sales.
“Indow Windows’ network is a wonderful contributor to our fight toward a sustainable future,” said Andy Roth, General Manager, ERC. “Indow Windows solutions are an affordable yet effective offering that will make an impact across the country,” said Andy Roth, General Manager, ERC.
The home performance solutions offered by the ERC coalition are ranked by their level of effectiveness to a household. Many times, windows are at the bottom of the list due to the level of investment required. The Indow Windows product offers a solution to that area of the house without the level of investment of a full replacement. PR
