Construction lawyer Craig Martin discusses an update to the length of construction warranties for Nebraska builders.
Based on the Nebraska Court of Appeals’ decision in Adams v. Manchester Park, LLC and Southfork Homes, Inc., Nebraska homeowners now have five years to file a claim – the one year homebuilder warranty plus the four year statute of limitations. The ruling applies only to Nebraska, but it’s reason to review your state’s warranty laws.
