Every year, three times a year, remodelers can take exams administered by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry to achieve certification in various remodeling skillsets, some general, like Certified Remodeler (CR), and others more specific, like Universal Design Certified Specialist (UNCS). Overall their are nine certifcations available through NARI and while none have any pre-requisite continuing education course requirements to take the exam, NARI does admit the exam can be difficult and therefore offers courses to better prepare remodelers. Three of those courses are set to begin in February, two in March, and more later in the year.
