Three new SmartComfort gas furnaces are certified for one- or two-pipe, direct-vent installation. The VS 90 (pictured) offers two-stage heating and a variable-speed blower, the IIS 90 also has two-stage operation but with a conventional PSC blower motor, and the DLX 90 provides single-stage heating. At 40 inches tall, all are designed to fit into tight spaces and be installed up-flow, down-flow, horizontal left or horizontal right.
