TimberTech 5/4 deck planks are now available in redwood in addition to cedar, natural and gray. The 5 ½-inch-wide by 1-inch-thick planks come in 12-, 16- and 20-foot lengths. Made of plastic resins and wood flour, the planks provide a slip-resistant surface and will never need sanding, sealing, painting or re-staining, the company says. Each plank cuts, drills and fastens like wood.
