You've probably experienced it yourself—after visiting a site, you start seeing banner ads for that site whenever you're online. You've been remarketed. The tactic works well for retail goods and software, but according to Duct Tape Marketing guests blogger Brad Hanks, it can be effective for service companies as well.

"Remarketing is a really effective way to spend marketing dollars,: writes Hanks, "because it reconnects previously interested customers with your website to encourage them to make a purchase they weren’t ready to make during their first visit." The key is to set up a tag that tracks visitors to your site, and delivers your ads whenever they are online.
