Battery Adapters: The Worst Best Idea a Remodeler Has Ever Heard

Battery adapters allow remodelers to use the best lithium-ion batteries and pair them with the best tool in each class, on blogger wrote for Protool Reviews.

 

But the blogger maintains that there are several problems to this seemingly brilliant idea. One main issue is that it can potentially shorten the life of the battery, tool, or both. This happens because the motor burns up when it is running on a higher voltage than it was designed for.
