Architect Sebastián Irarrázaval constructed a home using 12 recycled shipping containers in the hills just outside of Santiago, Chile.
The resulting house is a two-story structure with a total area space of 3,800 square feet fashioned out of five 40-foot and six 20-foot shipping containers. The owner wanted the home to blend into its surroundings as much as possible, so the architects designed some sections o the house so it slopes along with the hillside.
