The Twin Cutter portable saw cuts metal, wood, plastic, fiberglass or any combination of those materials without changing blades, the company says. Two 61/8-inch, 36-tooth, carbide-tipped blades run flush against each other and rotate in opposite directions, reducing kickback, vibration and resistance from the cutting surface. The 7-pound saw has a maximum cut depth of 17/8 inches, and its 8.8-amp motor has thermal overload protection to reduce overheating.
