New Educational Program Joins the Industry

Caesarstone launches Masters of Stone, an educational program to address quartz surface safety

Caesarstone launches educational program for quartz surface safety

On February 3, quartz surface manufacturer Caesarstone officially launched what it calls a first-of-its-kind educational program focused on health and safety in the workplace. Masters of Stone was created for fabricators and their employees, according to the company, and emphasizes "creating a space free of the dangers of the potentially hazardous respirable crystalline silica dust, the root cause of silicosis." The program will be free and available for use by anyone involved in the quartz surfaces industry.

“We often hear feedback from fabricators around the world that safety guidelines can be complicated and confusing,” says Elizabeth Margles, VP of Marketing Caesarstone North America, in a press release. “So we took on the challenge of making safety knowledge easily and clearly accessible to managers and employees in our industry."

Masters of Stone is comprised of professional seminars conducted around the country, along with an extensive website for fabricators that includes e-learning modules. The program will be available in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and Hebrew. It also features a responsive design for use on mobile devices and tablets, making it easier for industry pros to present in places outside the office.

At the time of writing, the 2020 schedule for the professional training seminars includes:

  • Q1: Atlanta; Charlotte; Chicago; Dallas
  • Q2: Queens, NY; Deer Park, NY; Lyndhurst, NJ; Los Angeles; San Francisco
  • Q3: Miami; Orlando; Clearwater, FL; Pompano, FL; San Diego

More will be added as the year progresses.

Each fabricator is issued a unique factory code for both registration and login to the Masters of Stone Training Center. Every time a team member registers or successfully completes a module, the system sends an email to the fabricator.
